Pre-School : Admission by Computerised Random Selection-25.
I-Standard : Admission is done by Computerised Random Selection. Total available seats-45.
Interim Admissions : All the admissions are done on the basis of Computerised Random Selection for classes II to VIII. Written test for class IX and on merit basis for classes X and XII.
XI-Standard : Group A-Science Stream
Group B-Humanities / Commerce Stream on merit basis.
Minimum of 5 candidates should have opted for offering any elective subject in the below list in Group A or Group B.
Selection:
All the eligible candidates of Demonstration School, fulfilling the eligibility conditions will get first preference in admission based on the merit list amongst them. DMS students are also required to apply in the prescribed application form. Seat remaining vacant, if any, will be filled by the outsiders on the basis of merit. Mere possession of eligibility condition does not entitle the candidates for admission.
Admission to Group B will be kept open till 1st September.
The Medium of Instruction is English.
Merit list is prepared on the basis of aggregate marks of the X std.
Qualifying exam:
Reservation : SC-15%, ST-7.5%, Ex-Servicement-2.5%, Person with disabilities-3%
Reservation will apply to the vacant seats, if any, after accommodating all eligible students of Demonstration School, Mysuru.
